The Asian Journal of Primary Learning and Teaching (AJPLT) implements a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness, objectivity, and academic quality in every publication. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review procedure.

Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial evaluation by the editorial team to assess its suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, originality, academic quality, and compliance with the journal formatting guidelines. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then forwarded anonymously to at least two independent reviewers who possess expertise in the relevant field of study.

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including:

  1. Originality and contribution to the field
  2. Relevance to the journal’s scope
  3. Research methodology and data analysis
  4. Clarity of presentation and organization
  5. Quality of discussion and conclusions
  6. Compliance with ethical and academic standards

The review process generally takes approximately 4–6 weeks. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept Submission
  • Minor Revisions Required
  • Major Revisions Required
  • Reject Submission

Authors will receive the editorial decision along with constructive comments and suggestions from reviewers to improve the quality of the manuscript. The journal is committed to maintaining confidentiality, transparency, fairness, and professionalism throughout the entire peer review and publication process.
